According to their legends, it was once the Hokqan who ruled Azuhl and even brought their most bitter enemies, the Krowh, to their knees. But endless intrigues and infighting fragmented the proud hunters of the primeval forests. Only the threat of the curse forced the Hokqan to form fragile alliances once more to defend the borders of their hunting grounds. Yet these turbulent times also offer ample opportunity to gain glory and honor - keys to being accepted into the realm of the gods and a chance to strengthen the bloodline of one's descendants.
